Radoslav Opacic, RA, AIA

Principal

Radoslav Opacic spent his early childhood living among the stunning examples of Italian Renaissance architecture found in Rijeka, Croatia, the sister city to Trieste. He attributes his keen architectural sensibilities to these initial years. In 1982, he received his Bachelor of Architecture degree from the City College School of Architecture and Environmental Studies in New York, where he also earned his Bachelor of Science degree. He is a member of the American Institute of Architects, Westchester Hudson Valley Chapter, and is licensed to practice architecture in both New York and Connecticut. Prior to starting his own firm in 1990, he worked as an Associate with the firm of Peter Gisolfi Associates in Hastings-on-Hudson, New York, designing and managing an array of residential, commercial, and institutional projects. Rad’s passion for beautiful details, both traditional and modern, can clearly be seen in all aspects of the work produced at Opacic Architects.
